Jodi E. Huber, M.A., OTR/L, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University and a Master’s of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Santa Clara University. She has been practicing occupational therapy for the past 19 years, always working with children. Jodi has worked in the schools, home- based care and in private practice. She is certified in the Sensory Integration and Praxis test and uses sensory integration combined with other models of treatment to optimize the outcomes of children with special needs. Jodi is also trained in the TEACCH Structured Teaching Model and Advanced Therapeutic Listening™ and uses Therapeutic Listening in her therapy sessions. Jodi has worked with a variety of children and ages and enjoys working in groups as well as individual sessions. Outside of the office, Jodi enjoys spending time with her husband and two Westies and spends as much time at the ocean as possible. Jodi is a founding partner in As Children Blossom. |

Lisa R. Worrell, M.A., CCC-SLP, holds a master’s degree in speech-language pathology from Northwestern University. She is licensed nationally by the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and by the state of California’s Consumer Relations Board. She has been delivering early intervention and speech and language therapy for children in the San Jose area for nearly 15 years. Lisa utilizes a variety of techniques in her treatment with young children and their families. She is trained in various methodologies, such as TEACHH, Greenspan/Floortime, PECS, SCERTS, AAC, and behavioral management techniques. She has experience conducting informal, standardized, and curriculum-based assessments. A native of New Mexico, Lisa graduated magna cum laude from the University of New Mexico. Lisa has worked in a variety of settings, including public and non-public schools, family homes, and clinics. She and her husband have two children and a dog. Lisa is a founding partner in As Children Blossom. |
