                                                                     Groups forming now!!!

Sprouts is a small intensive therapy group offered for children 2 ½  to 4  years of age who could benefit from some extra help.  The group
focuses on helping children who have delays in:

       •        Receptive and expressive language skills
       •        Articulation development
       •        Fine and gross motor skills
       •        Sensory integration
       •        Cognitive skills
       •        Social communication and peer play
       •        Social-emotional development

The group is taught jointly by Jodi Huber, occupational therapist, and Lisa R. Worrell, speech-language pathologist, through As Children
Blossom Therapy Center,  two times per week for 2 hours each session.

Group activities: The therapists utilize a combination of approaches and methodologies in an effort to individualize the program as
needed for each child.  Activities include facilitated free play, gross motor games, fine motor activities, arts and crafts, group tabletop
games, circle time, and snack.  All activities are facilitated to help each child participate to his/her highest degree, communicate with
therapist and peers and prepare for preschool.

Goals addressed within the group:
Developing fine and gross motor skills
               Improving sensory integration
Developing receptive and expressive language skills
               Developing social communication skills
               Developing school readiness skills
               Developing successful transitions between activities
Developing appropriate play skills with peers
